The Trustees of the Resolven Miners Welfare Hall are pleased to invite local residents to view plans for the potential refurbishment of the Resolven Welfare Hall and provide their comments.
The Resolven Miners Welfare Hall has been a much loved local resource, but the building is dated and no longer fit for purpose, requiring significant modernisation.
The Trustees were successful in securing funding for a feasibility study which considers what it would take to bring the hall back into full use and commissioned us to undertake the work. This in-depth study will help the Trustees to apply for large grants to renovate the building.
The study is now concluding, and you can view the plans via the links below.
Once we have collated the feedback we will then finalise the proposals, which the Trustees will then use as the basis for future bids for grant funding.
