Urban Foundry is a creative regeneration company based in Swansea, working across Wales and beyond.
We started in 2004, bringing together creativity, social entrepreneurship and a strong understanding of regeneration, places and communities.
From live placemaking strategies and activating places to social research and community projects, our roots have always combined creative thinking with practical action.
More than 20 years later, that still shapes how we work.

We believe good regeneration comes from bringing people and ideas together and being willing to make things happen.
We don’t just advise. Alongside our work with clients and partners, we create and run our own projects and social enterprises, putting ideas into practice and learning what works.
That hands-on experience keeps our work practical, grounded and focused on delivering lasting results.

Urban Foundry was created to make a positive difference, and that still sits at the heart of what we do. We’re a certified B Corp and accredited Living Wage Employer, committed to balancing purpose with running a successful, sustainable business.
For us, social value starts at the beginning, by thinking about the difference our work can make for people, places, the economy and the environment.
