Bethan Jones MA, BSc (Hons)
Bethan is a recent graduate from Aberystwyth University, where she achieved a Masters and Batchelors degrees. She has joined us as is an intern through our Academy.
Through her initial degree in Geography she has developed an interest in culture and regeneration. Bethan’s undergraduate dissertation research looked at the role of culture and language within sustainable development projection in Wales.
Her interest continued to inform further research projects, including her thesis as part of her MA in ‘Practising Human Geography’, which focused on exploring the role of culture and ‘creativity’ as a facet of urban regeneration, considering the ‘UK City of Culture’ programme and to exploring any lasting impact on culture-led regeneration within Swansea in particular.
Bethan is working with us to build her research and analytical skills.
